 # Introduction to Decimals Learning Objectives

Students would be able to identify and represent decimals.

Activity 1: Using Dienes Blocks In this activity, take Dienes blocks of thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones. Use the blocks of thousands and hundreds to show the number places before the decimal point. Use the tens and ones blocks to show the decimal places after the point. Different numbers can be taken for practice and kids can be asked to represent decimal numbers using the same way.
